5/5

Lovely waterfront cottage! It was the perfect spot for our Carolina Beach family trip. The private beach was fabulous and a safe place for our 2 year old to play. Bedrooms and kitchen/living area were updated and very comfortable! We would definitely stay again!

We had the best time staying at Fort Knox! The ocean view was just incredible. We loved being waterfront and having our own private beach area. The home was clean, beautifully decorated and updated, and everything seemed to be brand new. We especially loved the couch and master bed we slept in! We enjoyed the nice beach chairs they provided at the house for us. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. We look forward to returning!

Very tastefully updated design, cozy little place in a great location near the Carolina Beach Pier. The host thought of lots little extras and communication was excellent - much appreciated!

We enjoyed our stay at Fort Knox! We especially liked that there was a dog gate for our fur babies on the deck. The cottage is adorable, and well kept (clean and well decorated). It is a true cottage cozy so though it can sleep 9, I would say four people is probably max comfortability hanging in the living space. We really loved the private beach. It was really nice to have such a beautiful view of the water and makes for great pictures. The beach access was a short walk, so just keep in mind the closest access will take about a five minute walk in either direction. We really loved the proximity to the Carolina Pier. There's a restaurant and a tiki bar which we took advantage of at least once a day. All in all we would rate this a 5/5 stay, we would absolutely book again. Thank you for hosting us!
